“Don’t blink. Don’t even blink. Blink and you’re dead. They are fast. Faster than you can believe. Don’t turn your back, don’t look away, and DON’T blink. Good Luck” – The Doctor
We say good bye to this week with two important updates, the 3d WIP of the Petrified Gargoyle (at about 70%) and the awaited Add-ons, which we now have available at our Lanzanos campaign. Let not get ahead of ourselves and so we dedicate a moment to one of the most dangerous critters in Heroquest Classic in its most disturbing form, the petrified gargoyle.
You will find fewer more dangerous enemies apart from out winged friend, but the first problem our heroes will have is are they in front of a simple statue or is it just waiting for the right moment to spring at them. It might not have been the best idea to have pulled that lever… or maybe it only needed the presence of its master to rise from its long lethargy.
It is a magnificent guard so it’s not unheard of that it would be watching over a treasure of special value. Defeat it and the survivors could share in the loot in its pedestal over which it perches. Actually the stone gargoyle is an independent piece which fits to its pedestal, once removed it reveals a hidden space in which the same treasure token inserts from the chests can be placed to personalize each and every adventure.
Add-ons
It has been a long wait but we believe that it was worth it. We have inaugurated a new area on the right hand side of the principle Lanzanos campaign page, right below the three different backer levels, you can find the first Add-ons:
- Bone Pack (10 euros). An additional 4 zombies, 4 skeleton warriors and 2 mummies.
- Green Skin Pack (14 euros). An additional 8 orcs and 6 goblins.
- Modular Board (22 euros). This pack contains 23 rooms and 28 corridor tiles. All or the pieces are double sided, one side is identical to the A face of the Alfa board model and the other is a different and alternative design to that of the B side.
To add one of these articles to the package you will receive next Christmas the only thing you have to do is push the APOYAR button and follow the same steps you did when you joined the project. If you want more than one all you have to do is put correct money amount you want in the box multiplied buy the quantity. Each add-on is processed as a individual transaction so you don’t have to modify previous add-ons to make a new one.
A practical example: I want 2 Bone packs so I click on its apoyar button, introduce 20 euros in the first box, select the method of payment and click the “realizar pago”. I also want the modular table to extend or just modify the basic box so I go back to the project page; I click over its apoyar button leaving everything as it is in the box I click “realizar pago” one last time.
For now that is all. As always remember, if you have any questions you can contact us any time through our contact us form to resolve any question you might have
Have a great weekend!
